In the present scenario of discipline, technical education is highly influential in making outstanding contribution to nation development through creating finer skills in life, trained manpower, enhancing productivity, and improving quality of life. The chief goal of technical education is to prepare individuals for employment and industry through skill and knowledge possession. Technical training provides systematic way of practical exposure to individuals for producing goods and services which are necessary for the development of any nation. Lack of technical education means unemployment. Beyond doubt, the rapid industrialization of any country in this world is due to acquisition of technical education. To meet this imperative challenge, the ITS play a vital role in the society.

We are indeed very happy and proud to state that MSM ITI, Piravom, belonging to the Catholic Diocese of Muvattupuzha, is one of the leading ITIs in the state. Since its inception in 1980, it is on the path of imparting quality technical education and there by supplying the nation with skilled technicians and successful entrepreneurs. We train the aspirants in all the six trades by providing modern facilities and find placement for them through the conduct of Job Fairs and Interviews. Also, it is a matter of great appreciation that MSM ITI is blessed with a team of committed and competent faculty who can transform the trainees into a new breed of skilled employees and a group of supportive employers .
